Yeah, it looks good - and maybe CDPR really did manage to make UE5 finally viable open world engine.

I can't really pinpoint what, but something is way off with Ciri, compared to TW3.

She looks like she's been through a lot of plastic surgery, that's what stands out for me. Her face looks unnatural.

After letting it sink in for a bit, I don't expect the final game to look and behave this well.

And I'm used to chaarcters looking different in new engines/as they get older/when being face modeled, etc.

I think people will have to reel it in a bit back cuz if you look at the first tech demo showcases of their most recent games, TW3 and Cyberpunk 2077 weren't too close from what would be their final release.

Consider this as their early promise but not what's final.

Cyberpunk looked way better at launch than it did in the demo showcases, though.

As for TW3, CDPR did mention they thought the PS4/XBO would be more powerful. Whether that's true or not it's up for debate, of course.

Hm, back before PS4 launched, I think there was lot of guesstimates that PS4 would be around 2.5TFLOPS, as opposed to 1.84 it ended up being. But I somehow doubt that CDRP didn't know PS4 final specs way before first announcement trailer, though they did say later they needed to scale TW3 down for consoles.

This time around, they seem to go with consoles first approach, at least in presentations, probably to avoid any controversy.

It seems this is "800p-1080p Graphic + DoF and upscaled by TSR to 1440p for post processing and then spatially upscaled to 4K with native 4K UI"
