Worldwide, it's likely inevitable because of the absolute black hole in sales MS has i Japan. North America? Probably won't happen.

So , when someone says 360 will reach 80 million is a fanboy, but when someone else says PS3 will reach 100 millions is not a fanboy?
what about we wait.... IMO it's not done yet..... what I know from the past is that old IPs from Sony have been selling less and less along the years.... while new MS IPs have proved to sell more and more year after year... I don't see why this christmas MS couldn't do a come back like PS did this year???
I mean we know very little right now on the future of the 360 game wise....
me, I think the sales difference is going to decrease between XB and Sony around holiday season....
MS has lost japan but will probably pull some target game to sell a little better over there...
then US is still more or less in controle of MS without doing much... and europe can change trend easily if something major happens... I don't see why what happened with SONY back to PS 1 and 2 can't happen to MS to some extend....
on the other side you a right thing can stay still from now on and have PS going over XB mid 2009 and never turn back....
but I think it will be really close to each other 3 years from now... and see something like 45% of the market for Wii 26.9% for one and 28.1% for the other

I think it's mostly the price and size of the PS3, the Japanese like consoles small, but with MGS4 sales should climb back up, and I think the Japanese game line up is weaker than America/Europes, but it should all change by the end of this year.

You're using a wrecking ball to hit a nail in a two by four... this is simple math PS3 is outselling the 360 by 52,000 units/week so it will take 123 weeks for the PS3 to catch up to the 6.4 million consoles its behind... NOT 66 |

Wrong, you say that as if for those 123 weeks the 360 doesn't sell a single console. It needs much mroe than 123 weeks to catch it, saying it sells this constant, for both the PS3 and the 360. |

well the thing is it's hard to say for sure how the sale difference will behave holiday season... most of us seem to expect PS 3 flying even higher.... me i'm not sure.... I expect the weekly gap to tighten... we'll see who is right I don't think we have enough reliable facts to know for sure....

Tales of Verspersia isn't anymore a 360 exclusive than Eternal Sonata was. |
It's exclusive until announced otherwise. Speculation doesn't cut it. I mean there are now rumors going around that Red Dead Revolver 2 and L.A. Noire have gone from PS3 exclusives to multiplatform but it's still speculation until announced otherwise.
