You're using a wrecking ball to hit a nail in a two by four...  this is simple math

PS3 is outselling the 360 by 52,000 units/week so it will take 123 weeks for the PS3 to catch up to the 6.4 million consoles its behind... NOT 66


You are also using a wrecking ball to hit a nail in a 2 X 4

Your math only works provided that the PS3 only ever outsells it by that much, for a sustained amount, for that period of time, negating big releases, holidays, price-drops, etc.

Hey now, I don't appreciate the questioning of my RPG Gamerness (I made a new word, and now it is law).  I doubt anyone on this site has played as many JRPGs as me.

I wasnt questioning yours. I was just saying that it is my favourite genre and there is no way I can wait for a 8/10 or higher rpg. I have to have like day 1. :)

sorry, but predicting 85-90m lifetime for the 360 automatically makes you a fanboy. no one is that stupid.

also, how could anyone call you a PS3 fanboy when you in contrast said it would only do 45-50m lifetime?

In my experience, review scores are next to worthless for JRPGs. A game that shouldn't be scored above a 6 like FFXII gets 9s and an original and fun game like Baten Kaitos is lucky to get 8s.
