Like last generation, Gran Turismo 5 will be the highest selling game this generation after the GTA's

Final Fantasy will move more consoles

GT5 should crush it in sales.  As for HW boost, it is kind of hard to say.  GT5 will sell the most in others, but the PS3 is already doing quite well there.  If FFXIII gives the PS3 a massive boost in Japan, then it might result in the largest HW increase.

Why cant it be both?

Who updates the numbers? I doubt ioi does all of them

I can't say much about GT5 since I don't really follow racing games (I guess it's big?) but I have the funny feeling FFXIII isn't going to do much and it just going to be a general disappointment.

I'm sure it's going to look *fantastic* but I'm also sure it's going to be a mess and just not that good.

So I guess my answer is GT5 and GT5.

GT has pushed more consoles historically. We know what GT5 is going to be, not sure what FF13 is going to be yet.

We know it will be radically different than any other FF game, so it’s an unknown quantity as to how it will sell.

FF13 is the only guaranteed success RPG going to the PS3 as far as we know. I can't see it being outsold by GT5 in Japan at least and possibly America.
