Calm your tits. Companies renew IPs like this all the time. Unlikely any new release happens. Just SEGA protecting their IP.

Yeah, I did some investigating earlier and found that that the trademarks either recently expired or are expiring soon. It seems like this is just to make sure the trademarks don’t get used by another video game company.

Although, the interest in the IP might encourage Sega to release a port to the EShop and other platforms.
