Most Anticipated Game of 2025

This one was interesting to watch because, while the eventual winner built up a huge lead, as the days went by and more and more votes came in the runner-up started to catch up, to such an extent that the vote gap between the two on the user poll was just 1% (33.1 vs 32.1). That gap widened after the staff votes were added to the mix though.

Overall Game of the Year 2024

The final award for the 19th annual VGChartz Game of the Year Awards! Here are the final results in full:

  2. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - 20.625%
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - 10.90%
  4. Metaphor: ReFantazio - 10.435%
  5. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - 8.935%
  6. Balatro - 8.24%  - Eliminated
  7. Black Myth: Wukong - 5.80%  - Eliminated
