VGC isn't InstallBase where the mod team is on top of things. Over there your thread would have been nipped in the bud before any reports because the bad faith argument is so blatant right from the outset. But here the chances are high that nobody bothered to report your thread, because the Nintendo community here rarely does report threads and users. Since your thread has gone on for so long, it would require someone on the mod team to go through all the posts in order to define an appropriate punishment for you, but the usual course of action here would be to merely lock the thread and brush it under the rug with no punishment for you. This website has an overarching theme, whether it concerns the mod team or the community, of "don't really care anymore."

Long story short, the mod team's inaction does not imply, let alone confirm, that this isn't a troll thread.

But this makes no sense. Because a hybrid has a much larger potential playerbase to appeal to than handhelds or home consoles, since it literally taps into both.

PS2 is from a different era and is no hybrid. Downplaying the Switch as "purely handheld" only makes the numbers more impressive, especially following a generation when Vita sold a fraction of what PSP did, and the 3DS sold half what the DS did.

If someone wants to downplay Switch sales, agreeing that it's a hybrid helps their argument a lot more than saying it's a handheld.
