You know what's worse? This is the only PS3 game releasing in Japan until 22 May!!

Haze and Motorstorm Complete. Rainbox Six Vegas The Best will be released as well today but that's a budget title, not a new title.

you know that those games will bomb in japan right? after all valkyria chronicles is right now only high quality title i'm waiting for until e3 gonna come.

Hopefully this game can do something for the PS3's dismal Japanese game situation. IS this series more or less popular than Tales in Japan?

 i didn't say that you think those games will be succesful just ps3 won't have any game straight for japan in the next few weeks/months

I don't know the look of the cutscenes is awesome but when I see these turn-based JRPGs my feet start to sleep. It looks so boring. I mean I did love History Line (really really old strategy game) and Civ but times change.

Baldur's Gate 2 had the perfect controls.

This isn't a series.  It's a brand new IP.

Maybe you're thinking of Valkyrie Profile?  That series is made by tri-Ace and tri-Crescendo, not Sega.

As a point of reference, Valkyria Chronicles is made by the same guys that made Skies of Arcadia.

Lol, that would explain my confusion.  They can't have super high hopes for the game though.  The first shipment in Japan is meant to be less than 100,000 copies.
