Well, I would not go near a Toys R Us on Sunday. They are getting Wii shipments. In November, that meant a line 100 people deep. I know, I went near one before my mother's funeral.
Yes, there won't be many Wii sales on Tuesday. They will all be sold on Sunday with Mario Kart Wii.

I'm sorry. I guess I just don't understand the desire of some people to go around being the bad guy killing innocent people. Even in a game. Monsters OK. Zombies OK. Bots OK. But not innocent people.

If GTA IV sold 10 million PS3s, it would still be behind the Wii by a few million. That assumes the Wii simply stops selling for some reason when the game is released. The only thing that will kill the Wii is Nintendo. Nothing else will stop its success at this point. It has a high enough install base, and sustained sales for long enough to draw great games to it even if Nintendo stopped making them.

Thats why I like GTA IV. I've never played previous installments, but the game is supposed to be so good that you don't have to maul down civilians for fun.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
