I'd recomend you to stick with the PS4 version of Elden Ring, because that one runs at a locked 60 fps everywhere. The PS5 version has drops even in the performance mode.

Oh nice. Thanks for the tip, I have it on my SSD so I can easily pull it over. Any other games like that?

So far The Witcher 3 is a gigantic upgrade and such a smooth 60fps.

The PS4 version of Elden Ring, Metaphor and Jedi Survivor runs at a flawless 60 fps.

Metaphor is a turn based game so I'd say 60 fps with drops is fine.

The PS4 version of Jedi Survivor has massive graphical cutbacks, so it's something to keep in mind. It's the most stable version of the two, though.

Returnal is so good. It's the first new game I've tried that had really grabbed me. It's about a middle aged woman who has gone on an acid trip which is the strangest premise for a rouglike I've seen but it works fantastically, I'm well intrigued to see how she handles this until she sobers up a bit. Very long detailed runs, I've never seen production value like this in the genre. Way to go Sony for banking on something different and winning 👏.

It uses the duelsense to fantastic effect also,  maybe even better than Astro's Playroom.

In a way. Dipping my toe into everything to see the graphics and duelsense use and just lining up the games I wanna play over the next few months and in what order. I really wanna get back to Baldurs Gate 3 but I think Returnal is the one that's gonna stick to start with,  it's so fresh and fun.
