Wow, just wow. Nintendo then expects to sell 24 million Wii's in 9 months? Considering we already know Wii sold less than 1 million in July, then it's 23 million on 8 months. Impossible. @Squilliam: It has nothing to do with Sony Ericsson.
The new division is SCE, VAIO and Walkman. The report says the SCE and VAIO parts had lower operating income than last year, whether it's negative or not they don't say (of course at least one of them has to be negative as Walkman made money).
Conclusion: SCE made less than $56 million this quarter, or they lost money.

I think we're gonna get a Wii price this year, so I can see them getting close to 26m. PS3 and PSP especially I have major issues with reaching the goals.

Squillam its not a typo - PS2 had a 25% price cut this quarter ($30/$130) and it only increased 6% year over year. Its just that the PS2 peak was so much higher than anything PS3/360 have ever seen that it can outsell those systems easily when it perks up for some reason if they have a lull.
