Damn that looked good, I hope it gets made =p

Coming soon to WiiWare!

Wouldn't that be nice? I can't play Super Metroid without a proper SNES controller.

Awesome. Yeah they should contract whoever made this and get the game on WiiWare, or maybe DS. :p

Would be funny if they announced it for XBLA or PSN...Hehe

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Wow, that looks amazing. I wish it'd go to WiiWare, like some others in this thread suggested. I'd buy immediately.

I would rather it go to ds. I want it to be portable.

In any case the game would have to take place before Metroid 4 (Fusion). SR388 was blown to pieces at the end of that game.

Not exactly. Impact of the BSL station only vaporized the planet's atmosphere, killing everithing on the surface. Adam explains the process to Samus before the final mission.

What's the point, there will never be a Metroid game as good or better than Super Metroid. Anyway, I wish this project success but I HIGHLY DOUBT it will ever become available on Wiiware or DS.. at not without Homebrew.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Not bad. Looks like an especially attractive SNES game.

Still, I'd love to see a 2D Metroid on the Wii (WiiWare?) with art on par with Braid or Wario Land: Shake It. Hopefully Nintendo will wise up and make one...

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
