Like I said 100 pages ago, liberals do not connect with middle America. And so much not trusting betting firms. So much for not trusting polls. 

It appears many of the smart people in this thread aren't as smart as they think.

The results disappoint, but do not surprised me. Liberals have no clue what middle America is like.

China would drop Russia in a heartbeat for deals with the EU instead.

Xi is not happy at all at being partnered with the least impressive of the 'great powers.'

Why should EU be at odds with Russia? because of ties to the US and the old cold war thingy? that was forever ago.
It just feels odd, that we have to be at each others throats because America dislikes them.

If Russia could just make friends instead of starting f***ing wars!
I'm kinda worried about what happens to Ukraine, now.

Russia is right next door.... it would be nice to have a friendly neighbor in them instead.


I think it more likely that we improve relations with China though.

Democrats trying to court black people and Hispanics is a mistake. A majority of both peoples are deeply conservative but only vote Democrat because they know the Republicans are racist. If the Democrats try to actually help them it is seen as affirmative action style racism by white people. If they don't help them then they don't bother voting. And even if you successfully help them they just vote Republican the moment they make it up the social ladder. 

Also illegal immigrants can't vote and trying to help them doesn't get you net votes. 

Trans people represent half a percentage of the USA population. Not going to get any net votes there either. 

Trans fearmongering and immigrant fear mongering make for fantastically effective ads for Republicans. Same goes for Defunding the police. These issues are all poison pills that the Democratic party happily swallows. 

You can be righteous or you can win. Democrats need to learn how to win. Or else this country is finished.

I find it interesting I couldn't post in this thread without being dogpiled by a dozen people ensuring me I don't know what I'm talking.  They sure are quiet this morning and I hear nothing but crickets.

GOP took the senate.  Leading the house too.  Maybe liberals should have talked about the stock market and the economy...  

Almost like betting firms are in the business of making money and know what they are talking about.  Who would have thought?!!?

It's a landslide.  Trump is gonna win every swing states and hit 300 electoral votes. How did people here got it so wrong? 

See my earlier post about copium and Twitter/YouTube no longer being about the truth but rather views. Everything is "shockingly bad news for Trump" or "new random poll gives devastating news for Trump". Whatever gets views, instead of reality. The same thing happens with videogames and sports. There's an entire cottage industry built around providing fanboys copium as opposed to the truth.
