Rooting for Trump?

Nope. Neither. Both paths are shit and lead to different problems. If I were American I'd abstain from voting. That said, Trump is so erratic he could deter a certain regime from deciding a certain Island nation is theirs to keep. On the other hand Kamalla secures NATO continues. God, it's such a hot mess. You can do pros and cons all day on this and get nowhere.

Actually, I'd vote for that man who wear a welly on his head. He's a better candidate if he's still campaigning these days.

There's a reason why most of America's allies are rooting for Kamala. I have zero faith that Trump would do shit about Taiwan if China wanted it. Trump on Taiwan: "Taiwan should pay the US for its defence as ‘it doesn’t give us anything’" which is an outright lie. He abandoned America's Kurdish Allies. He said Russia can do whatever it likes to America's European allies. Everything is a business transaction to Trump.

The dude has praised Kim Jong Un and Vladmir Putin more than he has praised America's actual allies. He's a coward who only cares about money. He is the only Republican President ever to not understand the importance of having allies beyond financial transactions. Fuck him. He is no ally of Europe, he is no ally of UK, he will be no ally of Taiwan, Japan or South Korea.

Using your logic: If a NFL team has a winning record right now, its fans are more likely to vote for Harris, whereas if the team has a losing record, then those fans are more likely to vote for Trump.

You live in Austria, right?

It's an NFL team.

And yes, correct.

Honestly the fact that Polymarket's movement towards Trump largely comes from a single dude with $30m is really shady, the fact that Musk is tweeting about it is even shadier, I would not be surprised if Harris wins, this is what Musk will point towards as to "the election was stolen, the betting markets said it was a clear Trump win" bullshit.

That dude is absolutely, 100%, going to peddle stolen election conspiracy theories IF Harris wins.

You mean WHEN Harris wins. She only needs to win the rust belt swing states, after all.

Life is good there right now, because the Packers, Lions, Eagles and Steelers have winning records, so Trump's doomsaying campaign is clearly at odds with reality.

That's why Harris can afford to lose Nevada and North Carolina, and by the way, she will totally lose these states because the Raiders and Panthers are that awful.

Arizona and Georgia are toss-up states, but based on the recent history of the Cardinals and Falcons, they are much more likely to go to Trump than Harris.

I feel like you're joking but honestly I wonder if nfl results impact the election.

I know the weather does (sunnier election days make people more optimistic and less risk-averse, and vice-versa) so... I don't see why not.

Ya rly! When you have an acronym, you choose a or an based on the phonetics. The N in NFL is treated as though it were "en". So it's "an NFL team" but would "a UFL team". Or would be if anyone ever talked about the ufl. Try saying it out loud and it will be easy to tell which way is right and which sounds weird.

Not a single braincell between all of MAGA.

It is called sanewashing.

While some of his supporters are full on fascists, many are not. The job of Fox News is to offer up some explanation for what Trump meant. Oh he wasn't really talking about using the military on American citizens, oh he didn't really mean he wants generals like they had in Nazi Germany, etc. But, the evidence is clear that Trump is in fact a fascist. That is not hyperbole or an ad hominem, just the truth. They are doing what they can to polish a turd.

But don't call them stupid, because they know exactly what they are doing. We have evidence that Tucker Carlson, Mitch McConnell, and JD Vance all privately despise Trump, but also know that the republican party will never win an election without the maggots. They are not stupid, because stupid implies an honest mistake. They are evil.
