Finally, A Highly Successful Multiplayer game from Sony.
Took them only 30 years.

Hell Divers 2, was apparently in early stages of planning/developement, almost 8 years ago.
So this is a game that might have had like 6-7 years to cook.

I'm not 100% sure exactly when sony announced they would start focusing on live service games, as a responce to xbox.
I think back in 2023, they made a announcement about it, something like "we have 10 live service games planned".

I think Hell Divers 2 is the first of them to launch?
They cancelled the Last of Us one...

I hope most of these, are atleast co-op friendly / pve, and not pvp focused.
Theres enough competitive shooters, rilled with cheating online. The world can live without sony adding onto that pile.
