Nintendo definitely did not and never would make a definitive statement like that.

I never said that Nintendo made a statement.
Why can't I be logical? and hopeful?

Because you have a tendency to make simple errors?

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

“in fact I think Nintendo stated that after March 31 2025 they wont be putting any Nintendo published games on the Switch. Is that right?”

What are you talking about about? You literally just did.

Nobody is stopping you from being logical, the problem is what you said wasn’t logical. Nintendo would never announce a firm date of when they will stop supporting a console, especially when that date is over a year away and they haven’t released a new console yet.

October 3, 2023 in an interview with Nikkei from VGC, President Furuwaka "We are still working on software for the Switch for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025"

Isn't that saying that after March 31 2025 Nintendo will stop producing software for the Switch?
Just because Nintendo stops producing software doesn't mean everyone else will.

I wasn't quoting them in that post, I was asking a question. I went to find it myself.

Also I asked a question bro.

It's saying that Nintendo will be releasing Switch games in the fiscal year ending March 2025. There's no word at all on the fiscal year ending March 2026.

It's a very, very, very, very, very, and I should emphasize the word 'very' here, easy to understand statement.

No, you’re trying to read into things he didn’t say rather than just reading what was said. We are working on titles for the upcoming fiscal year=/=we are not working on titles after the upcoming fiscal year.

You took a statement about the upcoming fiscal year and extrapolated that to assume things about future fiscal years which is extremely flawed logic.

It’s the equivalent of me telling you it’s going to rain tomorrow and then you turn around and tell other people I said it’s not going to rain two days from now.

The fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, is the upcoming FY. April 1, 2024-Mar 31,2025. Yes it says nothing for Apr 1, 2025-Mar 31 2026 which is why I infer that they won't be producing Nintendo published games for the Switch after Mar 31, 2025.

If the fiscal year ending in Mar 31, 2025 pertains to Apr 1, 2025-Mar 31, 2026 then that is great news.

This is literally the opposite of logic

Why?

What would you like to infer about the quote?
I don't see you trying to talk about the future. No one knows about the future, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about it.

Look at my previous post to you:

This made me laugh, because it's the exact same example as the one I was thinking of posting.
