I received a Wii for Christmas and as result saw the Wii Effect first hand with non gamers and I was quite impressed. My mum who is in her late 50's really loved it and even wanted me to let her use it at her News Years Eve party. The last time my mum played anything was Pacman in the early 80's. That said after that first time she hasn't expressed any interest at all in playing it again let alone buying one.
