Death toll from Israeli attacks on Shati, Tuffah rise to 43
The Wafa news agency is reporting that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Shati refugee camp and the Tuffah neighbourhood in northern Gaza City has risen from 42 to 43.
The agency cited health sources. It said dozens of people were also wounded. The increased toll came as Israeli attacks on Gaza City overnight killed five more Palestinians.
Israel attacks historic Shati refugee camp
Israeli warplanes have targeted buildings in the Shati refugee camp, killing dozens and injuring many more. Shati is one of eight historic camps established in Gaza after hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced by the creation of Israel in 1948.

Israeli forces ramp up attacks on Rafah
Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting Israeli air attacks and artillery shelling in the southern city of Rafah.
Al Jazeera’s correspondents on the ground also said Israeli forces are blowing up homes in the Brazil neighbourhood of Rafah, while Israeli helicopters and tanks are engaged in battle in the centre of the city.
Attacks in Gaza City, Nuseirat kill 10: Report
An Israeli attack on a home in Gaza City’s Sabra neighbourhood has killed at least eight people and injured dozens, reports the Wafa news agency. A separate attack near a power station in central Gaza’s Nuseirat area has killed two more people and injured others, according to Wafa.
The latest attacks bring the number of people killed in Gaza in the last 24 hours to 56 people, according to our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic.
