That's so cool. Now we know who will be your favorite soldier then, regardless of the class (tho you can hopefully change class like in the first game).

August was a solid month although I haven't played everything quite a few I was interested in

August's most interesting part, to me, is how we finally got Blizzard back to the store... with a game with an overwhelmingly negative score, while at the same time we got the GOTY that is Baldur's Gate 3.

Also, honorable mentions to Sea of Stars and Mimimi's swan song, Shadow Gambit, but at least they closed doors on their own terms, not because they were forced to do it.

All I have to say here is Balders Gate 3!  Just one great game with so much fun to be had in some strange ways sometimes! 

Disappointed with the re-launch of Saints Row.  Still a big fan of the prior games.  Wish they had done so much more with that.  Hopefully one day we can have a worthy successor to the purple throne!

Lots of interesting games were released this month.

Baldur's Gate 3 is the one that stands out the most obviously, besides that one I'm interested in Atlas Fallen, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, BOOK OF HOURS, Sea of Stars, and Shadow Gambit.

Overwatch 2 was the first Blizzard game released on Steam, and quickly became one the worst rated games.

And the Saints Row reboot turned out to be a big disappointment.

Dune: Spice Wars reminds me how much I would like for Emperor: Battle for Dune to be re-released.

I'm also interested in Fate/Samurai Remnant, Moonstone Island, Wandering Sword, WitchSpring R, and Starfield.

Remember, that you can only gift games to people in your friends list!

I just checked all the Steam profiles above... one of them got an invite from me, the others already had the "message"-option instead of the "add friend" option:

I also gave each of you a profile award for participating this year's Secret Santa... since I can shit "Steam points" from the three Steam Decks I bought.

And someone got several profile awards for all of his work:

Maybe some Steam keys will follow.... who knows?

I think Starfield has a chance to change its poor reception over time. And I say that mainly because people's expectation will make way for what the game really is, and not the Skyrim in space game many expected it to be, but also because Bethesda has been kicked in the but and will try hard to improve the game every way they can.

But of course, I may be wrong.
