They just announced he’ll be doing the same review format under a new name of FullyRamblomatic.

Wow, I was beginning to think this wasn't going to happen and he was gonna stay there for life lol. I think at one point, years ago, The Escapist company went bankrupt or something? Literally no one was doing anything with the site or the forums and even then Yahtzee kept going with ZP!

I remember starting to watch him on ZP ages ago, back when he didn't have a theme song for the episodes and he had a different song to end each video. That music had copyright so that's probably he stopped doing it. I kinda miss that though!

Anyway, I'll be sure to check out his new project. While I don't always agree with his views on games (I've never seen Undertale as a masterpiece) I'm always entertained by the way he gives us his take on games. I specially like the top 5/bottom 5 he does every year. That's my way of knowing games that passed me by each year.

Yeah, circa 10 years ago they had a bunch of well known content creators who ultimately got in a feud with senior managers and left. Yahtzee was the only one who stayed and his series was pretty much the only thing of note. The site struggled in for years before it seemed to get embroiled in the Gamergate stuff which led to its then editor being forced out. That’s when Nick Calandra, the editor whose firing triggered this event, joined. The site had a revitalisation under Calandra but ZP was still the main draw.

Now the site feels like it back to where it was after that first feud, albeit now without Yahtzee.

Watched his video's for what seems like forever... Hopefully will come back with his own channel wherever he does.

He is. It was announced earlier today that the staff that have left have formed their own entity called Second Wind. Yahtzee will be starting a new video series on that channel called Fully Ramblomatic. Indications are the first episode will be next Wednesday.
