Ok is it just me or do these screens look nothing like anything shown before from this game? I mean either they are not actual screens from the game (but it says screenshots) or Mass Effect took a massive downgrade or I dunno what... these screens just look retarded...

Am I overreacting? I mean it looks good but really off and definitely not as good as previous footage or screens...

I dunno I just find these screens very ugly and out of place.

Retarded? You are definitely over reacting. I think they look great. Its just 4 random stills for heavens sakes!

I don't think it looks any worse than say, GTA4, LAIR or Uncharted. 

They don't look too bad...it's those earlier screenshots that make me wonder... The one on the bridge...it still looks like the background is WAY too blurry compared to the characters, and lack of shadows...

 Sheperd looks different in a bad way now and the backgrounds look much worse than before. Also I think GTA looks better than that .

When did Sheperd go from being bad ass to lookin like some random dude, also doesn't he look a lot whiter now? I thought he was black what happened? cause we all know there are too many black lead characters in video games... (sarcasm)

Don't you get to create your own character / customise them? Wouldn't there be millions of possible combinations of how he could look?

Just watch the ingame videos provided... It's definitily not going to look worse than that.

The pics look rather generic. Are you even a 360 owner that's considering buying ME anyways? At any rate, NeoGaf had a nice post of some people that have actually PLAYED the game and said it was just awesome. Better yet, everyone says graphics dont matter, thus why the Wii is so popular. Why then, are we worrying about these pictures when we know the gameplay is going to be perfect?

 Because I noticed it and I do care about graphics, that whole 'it doesn't matter what it looks like' argument works, but in reality everyone prefers something looking better than worse obviously. 

    I don't think there is a game with perfect gameplay I'm sure like every other game ever it has its issues and yeah I am a 360 owner and this is the biggest game for me this year on the 360. Bioshock and Blue Dragon are pretty far away behind this one.

    Why would I make a thread if I wasn't concerned about how the game looks meaning that I am interested in it? I didn't say the game isn't going to be great (still it might not, I wait for the actual game to come out to judge), just said these screens looked crappy compared to everything that was shown before.
