I know there are greatest hits in terms of massively successful games this gen, but what i wanna know is where are the $20 Greatest Hits Collection Games. I go into stores and all I see are games that are between $30-$60, i wanna know what you think is the problem this gen with the discounted titles, or if you just think that more time is needed for games to go down to $20.

I think the PS3 greatest hits will cost more than 20$, more like 30$.

Only Microsoft has implemented a Greatest Hits-like collection and the price is 29.99. It's because of the extra $10 hike in pices this gen.

They will come, probably once the games are 3 years old and sales have hit rock bottom.

Xbox has the arcade, plus it allows downloads of Xbox Originals.

That's where the greatest hits stuff is, just download it off marketplace.

I completely agree with Konnichiwa and Onyxmeth about the price being 29$ at least for the first few years of a Greatest hit. Before last year or so, Canadians had to play 29$ for most of our Greatest hits on PS2, so I think that shows people's willingness to consider that price point worth while.

Devellopers also seem to have larger costs to recouperate this generation.

Toasty - PSN offers the same but thats not even what hes talking about. He wants this gen's greatest hits. The market is strong for $20-$30 games. Just sold Resistance on eBay for $24+$6 shipping. So if I can sell $30 used games, a greatest hit Resistance new from factory would sell like hot cakes.

I don't know, but Japan already has their own "Greatest Hits" for six games and one more is coming next week.

Wii would probably be $20 if there ever is any. Some games are already at that price. Current gen console at last gen prices!
