Welcome back NintendoPie, it's nice to see some old faces, not like I'm around much anymore either.

For Switch games, before Tears of the Kingdom, I had been playing the FF Pixel Remasters, got through 1 & 2. Also played Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and enjoyed it, definitely my favorite Xenoblade game as I wasn't a big fan of 1 & 2.

Live a Live is fantastic, and one of my favorite games from last year. I thought they did a great job giving each out the paths their own unique appeal, and the way they resolve at the end was interesting. If you enjoyed the demo I would definitely recommend it!

Here are some Switch games that I really liked and seem to fit what you are looking for:

Octopath Traveler
Cuphead
Dead Cells
Cadence of Hyrule
Hyrule Warriors (both games)
West of Loathing
Untitled Goose Game
Sonic Mania
South Park and the Fractured But Whole
