3.) Hollow Knight Silksong (PS5)
4.) Sea of Stars (PS5)
5.) Baldur's Gate 3 (PS5)

Wrong thread lol?

So Tom Henderson as well as The Snitch is saying that Sony held back announcements from the showcase. After thinking about it some more, I think this is a very smart move for mindshare especially if they are waiting to see how MS does with their showcase. Considering Sony still has the new discless sku to announce as well, they are likely splitting things up with Summer game fest and/or another show of some sort. I think this could to be a 1-2 punch from Sony in the end but we'll see how it goes.

There's some rumor about Ghost of Tsushima PC port or Ratchet and Clank PC port trailers.

Also there was a rumor about a Bloodborne PS5/PC announcement.

I guess we'll know in the next few months.

Yeah, only time will tell. For all we know insiders are trying to cover their asses for damage control lol. It wouldn’t be the first time either.

Hmmm Maybe possible but Henderson and Snitch don't give off that vibe. They are far more reliable than Jez and the likes on Twitter. Especially Henderson for being professional.

It took a fan to fix the thing.

For sure, I'm much more inclined to believe Henderson and Snitch. And although Snitch isn't a journalist, he has been very accurate with his leaks over the likes of Jez or Grubb. But they definitely are all unified that they were expecting more. So I wouldn't be surprised if Sony had so much to show that they felt it could've been splintered off.

After all, unlike Nintendo and Xbox, Sony's showcases or SoP are never expected. They usually out of nowhere get announced. We always have a very good idea when an Xbox showcase is going to happen or the next Nintendo Direct. So it's completely possible that Sony could have a major presence at SGF or have another showcase around like September since that was their last major one in 2021.

I just found this rumor. Demon's Souls for July 29th and GoT for October 11th. I wonder where these were shot from, if real.

The games are definitely coming at some point, seems pretty likely it will be this year.

But does Sony make promotional material like that, where they're combining trademark and rating information?
Also strange because it includes rating information that doesn't exist in either game. Demon's Souls ESRB, Ghost of Tsushima ESRB Neither include a drug reference.

The Snitch made a comment about a PC game coming in July, so it certainly seems reasonable.

Oh ya, completely forgot about Demon Souls being part of the Nvidia leak so ya it could be that but....

Yeah, The Snitch teased with a Ratchet and Clank image.

I thought 1, 2, and 3 were all interesting. The first was pretty neutral, overall great but nothing unique that sets it apart and nothing bad that brings it down. but 2 and 3 had higher highs and lower lows. 2 had the cool levelling system and the better story, but that levelling system was fundamentally broken and the story...got really confusing to be honest (Had I not been following a guide I'd have gotten lost SO many times.)  3, on the other hand, had the outstanding job system that REALLY came into its own at the end, an even better story, and a lot more awesome but like, those shinking sections SUUUUUUCKED and the first half of the game was really lopsided and inconsistent.

I kind of liked that about the first one. It just felt like a pure experience.

Final Fantasy III is actually more like FF1 than FF2.

It gets better.

Out of the first 3 FF games, FFIII is the best of the NES trilogy.

I believe it, the mechanics are definitely there. I definitely love the mechanics.

But the difficulty bump is one thing that tends to really bug me.

Definitely looking forward to getting over though.

Shinobi was also disappointed with the showcase, and said that he knew of teams that were ready to announce things (I assume including promotional materials).

I think either there will be another September showcase/PSX in December, or we'll get another showcase next May with a big game or two coming extremely soon after that, or maybe some games aren't actually where they're expected to be.

But strangely there were some things missing from the showcase. Like Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin aren't that far off. Firewall Ultra is supposed to be coming later this year, and yet it was absent in the VR part of the showcase.

Unless it'll be at the Summer Game Fest or just a blog post; but the latter would be kind of surprising...

I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 make it out on PC this year. Sony ported 5 games last year and are already at 2 this year.

Here's to hoping! After that, there's maybe TLOU Part 2 before you reach the 2022 releases of PS5 exclusives that can potentially be ported to PC.
