Indeed, the USA has turned into a shithole country. Not even the most pathetic and poorest executed cover-up attempt in history is going to wake this country up. From there it's just a tiny step more to do away with free and fair elections.

But even if with free and fair elections, you'd have to wonder if the Republicans would lose their power. The USA is the country of the stupid, after all. Trump's approval ratings are still absurdly high when you consider how awful he has handled just about everything.

How about you teach everyone how it's done by pulling your country out of the EU and their top-down, election-cancelling ways first before we talk, keyboard warrior?

Now, I stand with the communists, socialists and narcissists collectively known as the Democrat base in this: the Epstein files need to be released.  My own proposal is all the kids who were victimized should be given copies and they get to sort through what gets shared and what doesn't.

We'd get the truth about the sick men and women who were involved by the weekend, and find out that many of these people were pushing destructive civilization-ending ideologies like wokeism, corporatism, securityism, alphabetism, etc for the past generation, and know who the blackmailers were behind all of it.

There are many, too many, Trump supporters who are letting things slide since it's their guy doing it, but there are far, far more who are vocally calling out the administration for breach of a critical campaign promise -- it's not always the case, but the right tends to be self-assessing and I suspect in time the base pressure will force some kind of disclosure.

With that said, the DoJ has had these files for far too long for us to ever have 100% confidence that we're ever going to get the whole truth.  The real goal at this point should be a top-down reform which would scale back the abuses which go back to Hoover in the 1920s: revoke the PATRIOT Act, give every member of Congress full access to everything the department does, and make it a felony with a 30-year minimum sentence for anyone working for the government to willfully violate the Constitution or to commit a crime in which there is no justification.

We can't fix the past, but we can protect the future.  The EU, on the other hand, is pretty much hopeless!

Skydance has told the Federal Communications Commission that once its acquisition of Paramount Global is complete, it will initiate a "comprehensive review" of CBS to ensure that the network is operating in the public interest, and that it will hire an ombudsman that will report directly to the president of CBS News "who will receive and evaluate any complaints of bias or other concerns" at the news division.

Skydance also committed to eliminating all diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives (DEI) at the company, writing in a letter that, "The company is committed to ensuring that its storytelling reflects the many audiences and communities it serves in a manner that complies with non-discrimination requirements and other applicable laws."

Skydance made the commitments in a pair of letters to the FCC, with one focused on "addressing concerns about media bias" and another "to confirm the elimination of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives that were in place at Paramount and-to-confirm our commitments moving forward."

President Trump has also said that Skydance has committed to about $20 million in PSAs or advertising that are supportive of causes important to him.

Paramount to Create CBS News Ombudsman, Launch Review of Bias

These corporations are scum, Lol. None of them have any shred of morals or integrity, all bending the knee to Emperor Trump. In order to get your acquisition approved now in America all you need to do is kiss Trump's ring and become a mouthpiece for him, concerns about monopolies or the market are irrelevant now, just turn into a propaganda outlet for the Trump admin and you're good. "Addressing concerns about media bias" is just code for not calling out Trump's bullshit. Especially when they're committing millions to advertise on behalf of Trump.

I suppose there was no point in upholding an appearance for you anymore after last time, when you basically made the argument that the continuation of the oppression of the black man was a cause worth dying for for Southerners in the Civil War.

You have to be pretty stupid to be against the EU. Likewise, you have to be pretty stupid to believe in the integrity of a far-right movement just a day after Mike Johnson suppressed a vote to hold pedophiles accountable. And you have to be pretty stupid to assume that there's a large number of Democrat-affiliated people on the Epstein list when it's the Republican party who is hellbent on protecting the criminals.

Exclusive: The Justice Department told President Trump in May that his name is among many in the Epstein files.

Second lawsuit incoming? Lol. Why does it feel like the WSJ is the only major news organisation standing up against Trump, I don't want to root for a Murdoch shit-rag but it feels like most others caved immediately. Still not fully sure what a far-right dickhead like Murdoch's angle is, but it seems like the most likely possibility now is that Trump has outlived his usefulness, given Murdoch what he wanted but is now being thrown to the wolves because he is fucking up the economy and Murdoch may be far-right but he is still a businessman who wants to make money, unlike Trump who doesn't know how to make money.

The plus side of it being WSJ is you can't accuse them of being a communists, socialists and every other thing disliked by right-wingers who throw those words out without knowing what they mean, Murdoch is a far-right dickhead and so is Trump so it makes it harder to claim that this is some Democrat plot, Lol. They'll probably still do that but it would be obviously mocked as ridiculous.

That JD Vance meeting with Murdoch only a few weeks ago is looking suspicious now, someone needs to put it into Trump's head that JD Vance is working with Murdoch to take down Trump, even if it's not true, Lmao.

When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a "truckload" of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump's name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials.

They told the president at the meeting that the files contained what officials felt was unverified hearsay about many people, including Trump, who had socialized with Epstein in the past, some of the officials said. One of the officials familiar with the documents said they contain hundreds of other names.

They also told Trump that senior Justice Department officials didn't plan to release any more documents related to the investigation of the convicted sex offender because the material contained child pornography and victims' personal information, the officials said. Trump said at the meeting he would defer to the Justice Department's decision to not release any further files.

"This is another fake news story, just like the previous story by The Wall Street Journal," said White House communications director Steven Cheung.

I had brief phone call with President Trump this morning. When asked about the photos showing Jeffrey Epstein attended his wedding, he responded, “You’ve got to be kidding me,” before repeatedly calling CNN “fake news” and hanging up.

NEWS --> Sen Ron Wyden writes to Pam Bondi, urging DOJ to probe $1.5 billion in Epstein financial transactions that banks flagged for Treasury Dept. He lays out roadmap for DOJ to examine money flow related to sex trafficking. Challenges Bondi in new way.

This from Wyden is striking:

"Epstein clearly had access to enormous financing to operate his sex trafficking network, and the details on how he got the cash to pay for it are sitting in a Treasury Department filing cabinet."

He lays out roadmap for DOJ to follow:

MORE NEWS --> Last year, Sen Ron Wyden sought to subpoena the release of Epstein financial transactions on file with the Treasury Department. He asked GOP senators to join him in backing a subpoena. None of them agreed, a Wyden aide tells me:
