It would have been a lot better if the console had a flash memory with all the NES games... I mean it's not even 1 gig worth of data and probably costs as much as the connector for the cartridges :p That I would buy directly! (then again, seeing as nintendo is making a ton of $$ with the virtual console, this would be rather costly!) |
I think the biggest NES game was 512KB, so at 675 licensed games that's a max of about 337MB, but it was only barely a few games that big, so I think every licensed NES game is about 150 - 200 MB. Many of the early ones like Donkey Kong, Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, were all 40-ishKB.
