Forums - Nintendo - An entire NES crammed into an NES cartridge

......How would you play other games? *sits stumped* That is pretty tough though. I applaud the skills of the person who did it and made it work.

Wow. Does it play the original SMB without another cartridge?

Whats up with the controller inputs? They 2600 or Genesis ports.

I would buy that just to display it in my room. That is so freaking brilliant.

umh considering the size of the console, I don't see what is so special besides the originality....

It would have been a lot better if the console had a flash memory with all the NES games... I mean it's not even 1 gig worth of data and probably costs as much as the connector for the cartridges :p
That I would buy directly! (then again, seeing as nintendo is making a ton of $$ with the virtual console, this would be rather costly!)

I think the biggest NES game was 512KB, so at 675 licensed games that's a max of about 337MB, but it was only barely a few games that big, so I think every licensed NES game is about 150 - 200 MB.  Many of the early ones like Donkey Kong, Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, were all 40-ishKB.
