 PS3 games are on average the best reviewed out of all next-gen systems.  Mix in a little MGS, LBP, GT5, FFXIII, R2, KZ2, and it looks to increase its lead even farther.

If you are I'll remind you reviews count certain games as shovel ware; that really aren't because they don't understand that things don't have to be beutiful to be fun.

 According to the article, the avg. PS3 game gets a higher review than the average 360 game.  Did you read the article and see the graph.

Of course the Wii is next gen, Ive never said it isn't.  I might of said that it is not an HD console, thus more of a compliment to PS3/360 not a subsititue, but the Wii is a next-gen console and anybody who says it isn't doesn't deserve the time of day.

Well that's all well and good, but wait until they have a big enough install base and people have the tech knowledge to start shoveling out the crap like they do on every other system that reaches big numbers.

PS3 has a good average but remarkably few that go above that, especially exclusive. That should change with MGS4, of course, but that's one. We thought lots of previous games would be metacritic 90+ games and they haven't been.

I definitely agree that if you pick a random PS3 game off the shelf, you aren't liekly to get burned on it, for sure.
