I too don't like this game so it doesn't matter to me.
And it doesn't matter which console sells more.
But, to support Starcraft I'll add that 360 version has been on top of PS3 version on
Amazon the whole month. For both editions.

Japan release date according to IGN is the same as everywhere else. BKK2 is probably right though...

On the subject, I think it's hard to predict where things will go, which console will sell more games and what not. Too many factors like, more people associate GTA series with Playstation, price of the 360 in europe, Playstations 'status' in europe as well.

The only think I think is certain is it's sell S***loads.

I think the global GTA IV PS3 bundle will give Sony a strong lead, and that's the most important thing for them now. Gaining on 360.

Sony has a slight lead worldwide, and is head to head in the US. This could tip the scales. And if the media jumps the news, could mean a big boost in consumer perception.

Just like the "Wii sold out nationwide" put Nintendo where they are now.

There isn't a global GTA IV PS3 bundle, it's PAL region only.

Its in the US, and its in all PAL territories. So that's every country where GTA IV is being released.

That's a good idea to get last gen consumers who where waiting for GTA to move over on their side. 360 has some great bundles too, but only at individual stores.

Come end of next week, the future of this console was will be a whole lot clearer.

It's ok.  Everything is fine now.

I would prefer it to sell btter on the ps3 however I wouldnt trust the GAME site its very varied and fluctuating, one day mario kart was the top preorderd, the next it didntmake the top ten but then the next day its back at the top again etc.
