I may have started my foray into the titular Bayonetta universe with Bayonetta 2, but I've been hooked ever since... Ever since 8 years ago. Does Bayonetta 3 cement this series for the modern era after such a long hiatus?

Here's the "damn this dude doesn't know when to quit, can we ban him, yet?" written version: https://zyro-eg.com/2022/11/09/bayonetta-3-review/

I started with B2, got about halfway and set it down to play B1.  Absolutely loved B1 but have never picked B2 back up.  Looks like I better finish it before I grab 3.  Looking fwd to more of her antics.

Bayonetta 2 really is the peak of the series, I'm a bit surprised you dropped off halfway through lol

But I WILL say neither 1 or 2 really prepare you for the "just do it" way that 3 throws completely one-off events at you... I can also see why that might be a struggle for some, but I definitely welcomed the way 3 somewhat tosses its gameplay mechanics aside to have you do things you just never see coming!
