This should have been the real question asked.

Why would you believe Phil would give you a different answer than what MS already stated in their earnings statement.  It would conflict with that and thus be an issue so I doubt you would get anything more than, YEP.

There's always going to be a market that prefers a plug-n-play solution rather than dealing with an expensive PC and having to troubleshoot, or deal with the frustrations of slow internet speeds since not everyone has access to fast internet. As long as that market is still there, there's going to be a console.

You don't need to beat Sony or Nintendo to be a success.

Pretty much all he's saying, they won't beat Sony/Nintendo in hardware sales but they don't need to.

Wonder why ID Software couldn't help Arkane more? Was it a mistake to switch to Unreal Engine?

Wonder if Avowed will be hub based or fully open-world with how shit Unreal Engine is for open worlds.

Hard to say, but Void and id Tech haven’t had open world games before, so Unreal may have been the easiest choice.

We still have yet to see how UE5 handles open world games, but I wouldn’t mind if Avowed was hub based or semi open world.
