No I don't care about AAA only and 2021 wasn't that great , it was great because we assumed it was going to be the worst year for xbox gaming content wise and 2021 was certainly good and more goodness for the next years sounded amazing ('next year is going to better') as a better example 2021 was the year halo infinite released and since then a lot of dreams/hopes got smashed. And your last comment sums it up again, in January people also said 'Redfall/Forza/Starfield are months away' |

Wut? Literally never heard of this narrative before, Lol. It was considered great because...it was great, Lol. Don't need to make up narratives.
"2021 was certainly good" Agreed.
Yeah we thought 2022 would be good, it wasn't, move on
2023 looks just as good as 2021 and could easily be even better.
"as a better example 2021 was the year halo infinite released and since then a lot of dreams/hopes got smashed."
Halo Infinite was great at launch...For the 500th time, its biggest problem was maintaining a post-launch support which killed the multiplayer base, the campaign and multiplayer were both widely regarded as being great but people expected a strong post-launch which they didn't get, that is a vital error in an age of constant updates and maps to multiplayer live-service titles.
"but Spiderman 2 could be announced this summer and released at the end of the year could be a bunch of games."
And...So could Xbox titles, next.
"And your last comment sums it up again, in January people also said 'Redfall/Forza/Starfield are months away"
Lol. The vast majority of people were expecting Starfield in around May/June, it was delayed by a few months more than what most were expecting, the horror.
It's still 2023. Redfall is still 1st half of 2023 as promised. Starfield and Forza slipped. Still both very likely for 2023.
