Wait...so Xbox isn't doomed?

Yoi knownwhen you kill a boss and all of a sudden it comes back with a bigger form and new life bar

Well that's the current situation

GP growth in subscriber numbers or because they stopped the 1$ deal ?

Lol.

The amount of people using the $1 deal is massively overestimated. But no, the $1 deal was stopped 26th of March, these financial reports are Jan - March. Absolutely not enough time to assess the effects of a $1 deal being removed, in revenue or subscriber count, especially since removing the $1 deal doesn't remove everyone's sub, it still has an expiry date, Lol.

So when will our heroes finally defeat the boss?

Since it hasn't been posted yet...

I don't think anyone will be surprised. Except for those that see MS as nothing more than a "big bad tech" they'll say this is just Sony doing good business.

What really gets to me here is there's nowhere to make a moral equivalence to MS' "big bad deals" of the past.  Even the worst fanboys can kinda understand when a lucrative deal blocks a rival's version if it would've never been made: MS was the only one to propel Titanfall to a AAA FPS like the team wanted and Street Fighter V would've been several more years away without Sony.  You have to pay the bills, after all.

But we're literally at the point of brand marketing deals acting as injunctions from Xbox versions or Game Pass altogether.  Just a totally hypocritical side in the face of their FTC/CMA whining.

Did anyone ask if they are going to continue to pursue new studios despite the hurdles of Activision/Blizzard?

$3.607B Gaming Revenue.

"Nearly $1bn" Subscription Revenue.

Round it up, Lol. Almost 27% of the business is "Subscription Revenue" on this Quarter.
