Yep I had a blast with both plague tail and flight sim. I would certainly enjoy if they commercialize their engine one day, were they to have a free tier aswell I'll be sure to check it out myself just to geek out with it.

Too bad that they already said that Nioh won't be ported to Xbox.

Sony likely has some say over that since they published them outside of Japan.

But ask for everything else!

If microsoft go acquires in japan what if they go after level 5 and sega , even tho i wished they would acquire mistwalker and buy out tri ace from squareenix even tho that wouldnt happen

when microsoft fully completes acti blizz acquisition, i think what they should do with so many employees is break up teams and create extra studios inside activison umbrella

Tri-Ace has a parent company they are not owned by SquareEnix, Level-5 hate MS due to cancelling their game for the original Xbox despite the game being practically finished. Platinum Games and Cyberconnect2 are the only real Japanese AAA independent studios that I can realistically see MS acquiring, others would be Bokeh, Arcsys, MediaVision, and JP Games but those are way less likely imo.

I don't see any path for MS growing in Japan without acquiring a Publisher.
