| Angelus said: Great show, Clockwork immediately one of my most anticipated games. CoD ending as the "one more thing" was lame af tho. One more thing is supposed to be a cool surprise, not something everyone knows is a yearly release. |

Clockwork looks so hype, Omfg I loved how British it was, Lmao. It was janky in parts but it's clearly not releasing 'soon' so it's forgivable, I loved the tone, setting and premise, the gunplay looks fun, the Britishness!
I enjoyed like 80% of what was shown, a few games I'm really excited for are getting sequels too, it was missing a lot of Xbox 1st party, but it was clear they were focusing on 2025 which is a banger line-up, it's hard to be that upset, I think it's fair to judge it more on what was shown rather than what wasn't shown and those games will be shown in due time, they already confirmed 4 major titles for 2026, Lol. We'll get to em eventually, whether that be via Game Awards or Developer Direct.
Grounded 2 is so cool, I still can't believe Obsidian is technically releasing 3 games in 2025, Lol.
Not as good as 2024 but that was a all-timer showcase.

How is Game Freak showing a game that looks that good and then releasing f*cking Pokemon? It looks great but because it is Game Freak, I feel like I'm being tricked somehow. Also, I love Pokemon still and I buy them all day one, I'm a sucker for Pokemon before anyone gets mad, but c'mon, Lmao. I know I'm contributing to the problem of Pokemon's recent quality. |
They were new to HD development. This game is them learning from that. Not to mention different art styles.

Well in Euro it is 80.

With how they're talking up the 25th anniversary, I wonder if that was another reason they didn't show off Gears E-Day, Forza Horizon (and presumably Halo) because they want to have a whole year of celebrating the 25th anniversary, it would be more impactful if Gears first gameplay reveal was in 2026, if Fable and Halo were revealed in 2026, sprinkled with stuff like State of Decay 3 which is a 12 year old franchise. Probably Everwild (finally) has its proper reveal, Rare can join the celebrations considering they've been with Xbox since 2002.
Last edited by Ryuu96 - on 08 June 2025I think it was a good show, around B-tier solid show. Better than last couple of years, but still not as good as 2019-2021 Xbox shows.
The good stuff:
- Finally MS remembered about Play Anywhere and started pushing publishers to work in that direction. It's obviously something they had to do with the Xbox Ally being made in collaboration with ASUS. Every game shown being Play Anywhere is a step in the right direction. Let's see how long they can keep this up.
- Persona 4 Remake (it would be better if it didn't leak)
- Final Fantasy games finally coming to Xbox
- GameFreak game looks interesting
- Korean "Splinter Cell" game
- Good indie showings with Silksong and MeatBoy 3D
- Ninja Gaiden 4
- A lot of other games that are high quality and not some generic slop which I personally don't care about but at least they don't look like complete trash
P.S. CoD ending was lame as others have said. But now it's the biggest Xbox franchise so we have to get used to it
