Hmm, I thought that was good, it had a lot of interesting looking games and a nice amount of variety from A-AA-AAA and a few indie gems receiving a sequels, but it was also odd at the same time because there are a lot of missing games from the showcase (Everwild, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3, Contraband, Fable, Gears E-Day).

Forza Horizon 6 was confirmed for 2026 so makes sense it wasn't at this showcase, they usually reveal them on the year of release. There's an unannounced Minecraft spinoff but that will probably be revealed at a Minecon. But there were really odd omissions and inclusions, it was great to see Clockwork Revolution but I certainly didn't expect to see that over Gears E-Day or State of Decay 3 (I didn't expect Perfect Dark Tbf and Fable was 50/50). Especially since State of Decay 3 and Gears E-Day are both heavily rumoured to be "close" releases, even Everwild, all rumours point towards development going really well on that now.

Obsidian are cooking like fucking crazy, 3 releases in 2025 is insane stuff, Grounded 2 is awesome, a Double Fine title in 2025 as well, I think with the exception of Clockwork Revolution, the showcase had a very clear focus on Xbox's line-up for 2025 only, so it resulted in a lot of omissions, which was a shame, I wanted to see a few of these things.

I'll judge it based on what was shown rather than what wasn't shown and based on what was actually shown there was a lot of great looking titles, a lot of nice variety, and on that basis I would give it about a 7/10. It wasn't as "megaton" as the last two showcases which I'd give around a 7.5 - 8.0 but still a good showcase nevertheless.

Ending on CoD sucked ass though, Lmao.

And hard to care THAT much about what WASN'T shown when they have such a banging 2025.

I somehow missed the "return of a classic that has been with us since the beginning" lol bro confirmed Halo, Gears, and Forza

It will just be a server test, this will likely be the most players Gears has ever had access to, need to make sure the servers don't burn on launch.

Not really much for me.

But good to see The Outer World 2 and Blacks Ops 7 (Staring Milo Ventimiglia)
And obviously I will buy the Rog Xbox handheld on day 1.

...But no next Halo, Gears, Fable... No Perfect Dark, Everwild...

Since Fable was pushed back until next year, I’m expecting to see it at the next showcase.

Out of the showcases for SGF, I think they did the best so far.

Seeing Double Fine's next game was great to see!
