20 years.....god damn! I only watched this on a rerun like a week or two later, but the hype level was insane!

Funniest thing is it wasn't the first time we saw the Xbox 360. A little while before this some dev's teenage son posted this online.

And let's not forget the Colony video

How does redeeming stuff on Bethesda website work? I got a free Doom TDA skin and put in the code on the website. Said it's redeemed but nothing else happened. No prompts asking me for what system. Not listed anywhere. Like it never happened.

  • Head over to Bethesda.net once again and log in to your ID.
  • Click on the Menu icon at the top-left corner of your screen, and then head to the Shop section.
  • Next, select the Redeem Code option.
  • In the box that opens, paste the code that, and then hit Redeem.

Thought it would be later, that pretty much confirms Fallout 3 Remaster has no chance of launching with Season 2. But I'm very much looking forward to Season 2! Then Fallout 3 for Season 3? Lol.

Microsoft is laying off more than 6,000 employees, around three percent of the company’s entire workforce. These are the biggest job cuts at Microsoft since it laid off 10,000 employees in 2023, and will impact employees across Microsoft’s businesses.

I understand that the job cuts will impact all levels at Microsoft, including Microsoft-owned LinkedIn and some international offices. The cuts come just weeks after Microsoft CFO Amy Hood hinted at reducing the company’s management layers. “We continue to focus on building high-performing teams and increasing our agility by reducing layers with fewer managers,” said Hood on April 30th. Microsoft also started ”performance-based” cuts earlier this year, which have targeted hundreds of employees.

Microsoft Announces Layoffs That Will Impact at Least 6,000 Employees | The Verge

Yeah, I didn't want to say it but I was like 99% sure May layoffs were coming, the corporations are so predictable, the fiscal year ends in June, time to lay off thousands to squeeze those numbers up, what's that? We just had a record breaking quarter? Yeah but it's not enough! We have to keep squeezing! Infinite growth!

  • These new job cuts are not related to performance, the spokesperson said.
  • One objective is to reduce layers of management, the spokesperson said.
  • Among those expected to be laid off are several dozen mid-level managers from Microsoft’s R&D hub in Israel, which employs around 3,000 people, according to industry estimates.
  • Affects all businesses.

So primarily focused on middle-managers and not performance based, so they say, but also clearly aimed at squeezing their fiscal year as they do this every year and it's in May, I just hope for minimum damage inflicted towards Microsoft Gaming. Hope people land on their feet, even if streamlining management is a good thing, it's a shitty way to do it.

wow... I did not even bother starting in my current playthrough. I hear the "humming" and then I'm like, "nah, don't care" :)

I remember doing that back on the 360 :) Man you are patient...

Having worked in a couple of larger companies, I can say with confidence that there are always waaaaaaaay too many mid-level managers 😂 one of the companies, nearly half of all the employees were somehow managers lol. I have no doubt MS is still penny pinching for end of fiscal year gains, but I can understand why that's where they're heavily targeting.
