Anyone else just have a wall-sized calendar and marking the days with shotgun blasts until Doom The Dark Ages comes out or is that just me? Had some complaints from the neighbors.

Loved all 3 but I really didn't vibe with Eternal's story, I really don't give a fuck about story in Doom, I think they tried to be more smart than they needed to be and all that high fantasy stuff, man, I don't care, I just want to rip and tear, Lol. It's a bit concerning they seem to be doubling down on that for Dark Ages but I think at least we won't have any of the heaven stuff, Lol.

I love 2016 and I love Stylish Action games. I didn't want it in my doom. Plus the platforming sucked. I fell off Eternal. One reason I love Prodeus so much as it was more of what I loved about 2016. Eternal was the antithesis of 2016. 2016 made fun of a lot of the stuff Eternal did. The one thing I will give it. Best art style of the series IMO. Dark Ages, yeah, it seems to take some of Eternal but not the worst parts, and 2016 and make a worthy middle ground. Also, I love how Dark Ages sheild mechanic seems to be Rygar, and I saw a Panzer Dragoon-inspired sequence. Seems to get that in some Western games. Gears 2. Darksiders 1. Doom Dark Ages.

Makes me wonder how best we should track hardware sales for the future of Xbox. Like just about everyone else we combined Xbox Series X and Series S together. It comes down to what sales data we are able to track. Does NPD/Circana combine the dedicated Xbox console and handheld together or do they keep them separate. 

Just track it like you track steam hardware.

I'm 20 hours in and haven't been to my first yet. I've only been to chorral and skingrad lol.

It's probably not going to be worth upgrading from an ally x, maybe not original ally either, though the original ally wasn't very comfortable and has awful battery life so maybe worth upgrading for that even if the power bump isn't much.

For people on steam deck it would be a very nice bump in power though. I got rid of my ally after trying the steam deck oled because it's more comfortable and has way better battery life. The Ally X supposedly addressed those issues but I've not used one.

If this new ally has decent battery life and I can install steamos on it I'd be interested, though I'm expecting it to be out of my price range.

Have you progressed enough in the story for them to even appear yet? Haha.

Honestly a few of them I closed just because they ruined the scenery, these dudes slapped me with a castle for free, I'm not complaining, but then a fucking Oblivion Gate was just sitting there in the distance! Had to close it

Closed a few near cities. I've done 10 and I'm already considering creating a few magic spells to fortify my speed and acrobatics so I can just run and jump my way through oblivion and close them in minutes, Lmao. I can't do this another 50 times. 😂

Also a tip, Oblivion Gates Sigil Stones offer really good enchantments but they level scale and the best Sigil Stones are given at level 17 so if you want some high level enchantments for armour it's best to save Oblivion Gates for when you're level 17+ anyway, although, that means the main story will be swarming with high level Daedra and it's a nightmare to keep people alive if you care about that, Lol.
