Okay I'm not the only one who noticed this term lol

Daniel noticed it too.

Daniel Ahmad: "Interesting use of the phrase Xbox PC over Windows PC. Wonder if that aligns with the upcoming handheld / PC strategy." — Bluesky

Makes me wonder if we're getting some hardware or platform announcement change at the showcase as well.

Tbh the random Monday announcement if anything makes me more excited for the June showcase, there was a time where Xbox would have been desperate enough for announcements to withhold this for the showcase and make it into a big deal, now they're just casually dropping announcements on a Monday, a month before their big showcase, Lol.

Though a remaster of a remaster isn't a big announcement and it's more just a treat for Gears fans and expanding its reach, alongside PlayStation it is also the first time Gears of War 1 has released on Steam so I'll be curious to see how well it does there, for Xbox, since it will be free to Ultimate Edition owners, I'm assuming the majority of Gears fans on Xbox will get it that way as I would assume they already own Gears UE.

Does that make Gears 1 enter The Last of Us, GTA V, and Skyrim territory?

Still no Epic Games Store either

2006 is back on the menu, boys!!!

Ubisoft could unironically earn some goodwill with a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter remaster.  lol

Throw in a Rainbow Six: Vegas remaster as well!

Hell, Splinter Cell: Double Agent while we're at it! lol

Spies vs. Mercs could still garner a decent audience in today's market.

Ubisoft is remastering the wrong AC for 2025 (It's Black Flag, I think) they should have remastered AC I or II!
