Guess I missed the post but no opinion on Netflix buying the rights to the recent Halo show?

Did not see this.

I'm more excited about the Forgotten Realms show than any new Halo show at this point...
They could do something amazing with the Halo universe but for some reason; they are just doing weird stuff instead; did not hate the Paramount show but it was a bit weird and no going canon was definitely not the best choice imo.

I'd rather Amazon or Apple have the Halo rights, at least they'd both have the budget, I fear Netflix would just cancel it after 1 season, Lol. Netflix has more reach than both of those though, but Apple and Amazon have "fuck you" money so they're just burning cash at this stage for growth. I'd say the show would need rebooting as well, as it was a relic of 343 Industries and not Halo Studios, new leadership, new direction.

Halo Reach - Season 1
Halo CE - Season 2
Halo 2 - Season 3
Halo 3 - Season 4

Foundation on Apple TV is the kind of scale that I want to see from a Halo show.

Hmm croc still hasn't had a releasedate, maybe on the ID show it gets announced + being a gamepass title?

God I hope so! There was a preview of the game from Forbes earlier this week. Which typically means the game is releasing within the next month or two. Since Argonaut specifically said Q1 2025, here's to hoping there's no further delays and it's releasing next month. There's nothing on the horizon as far as showcases other than ID. Unless they randomly shadow drop the release date lol.

Halo 2 - Season 3
Halo 3 - Season 4

I'd personally change that up a bit.

  • Halo: Fall of Reach book - Season 1
  • Halo: CE - Season 2
  • Halo: First Strike book - Season 3
  • Halo 2 - Season 4
  • Halo 3 - Season 5

I think it would have been cool and interesting to have started the Halo show with a season which wasn't centred around Chief, like a look at the UNSC before everything went tits up, Season 1 could have been a mixture of that and covering Contact Harvest with Sgt Johnson's actor as the lead, then a time skip to Reach for Season 2. I only wouldn't know whether to follow the Reach game or the Reach book, I think the Reach book makes more sense but the Reach game is more emotionally impactful.

Shows always need more than one plotline in them so they could probably shove Chief's story and Noble Team's story into Season 2 and save them having to make some filler shit up, Lol. Would be funny to traumatise people twice though, first with them thinking Sgt Johnson is dead because he doesn't show up in Season 2 and then when Season 2 slaughters Noble Team.

It is the months of the 'PSone' remasters, TR 4-6 just released, Glover in a few days, next month is suikoden and Lunar soon after....so yeah Croc would fit =p.

Avowed Director Carrie Patel and Obsidian Studio Head Feargus Urquhart – Unlocked 681

Second tip is look behind waterfalls. 👀

I mean come on...

anybody that doesn't automatically do this in every video game they play, probably only just started playing games yesterday lol

Being interviewed by the guy who said you should cancel all your projects and move to Elder Scrolls 🙈

  • Feargus said Obsidian is about 285 now.
  • Feargus made a little joke about receiving side glances and "really, another game this year?" from other XGS
  • Return vs Expectations: "Looking really good" - Feargus.
  • Feargus said that the original concept for Avowed was moving away from what they do as an RPG maker, it wasn't coming together and they were making it different to how they've made games before which is what caused the decision to move the team over to Carrie.
  • "I think with Avowed doing well, we'll look at making more of them" but Feargus seems like whatever Obsidian does next is mostly vibes based, Lmao.
  • "We even look into the giant spreadsheet of Microsoft IP" "No spoiler" - Feargus.
