Apparently PCF Project Maverick IS Gears E-Day.
Polish media is saying this is the project they announced in 2023 (Project Maverick).

LOL someone doesn't seem to know how private conversations work. Would be great to see an Ori 3 though.

Wait, what? @coolbeans looks like I may have been wrong lol
PCF must have a much bigger presence in the games development to warrant a dedicated internal project naming convention. E-Day can't be releasing in 2025 then if the game was still in pre-production at the end of 2023.

The budget for Maverick was $30-$50m which is a bit low for an AAA like Gears. People Can Fly have a lot of Polish teams and Poland is cheaper. But could their budget simply be the budget set aside from them specifically? Then The Coalition has their own budget total which together probably amounts to $100m+ and could it be that People Can Fly is only working on the MP component of Gears E-Day if there is one? Thus that would be $30m-$50m for the MP specifically?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Gears 1-3 remaster collection lol especially considering the budget.

Oh damn. If that's the case, then maybe PCF is shouldering the brunt of E-Day's MP options. *If* The Coalition is getting to wholly focus on the campaign, I can see this being Gears' biggest one to date.

I know it's better to take Jez's word with a grain of salt, but now he's giving out conflicting information. lol
