You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Finally put down STALKER 2 to play Indiana Jones and my god, the presentation of the game is immaculate! The little nuances of John Williams music are always present, even in quieter scenes. The melee combat feels great. I honestly don't even feel like using guns at all lol. It's just so much fun to beat everyone to a pulp! And of course, Troy Baker as Indy himself, I couldn't even tell it wasn't Harrison Ford. Not just in voice, but the way he talks and delivers his lines.

Still early in the game. Chilling around the Vatican doing side missions right now, but it is so worth exploring the world. Coming across the Sistine Chapel was an awesome experience. id Tech (or MachineGames variation of the engine) is so insanely detailed! From visual fidelity to performance, id Tech is running circles around Unreal Engine 5 can't wait to 100% this game!

Damn , so close. I was thinking about playing OG Oblivion in the future. Might still do it for the original experience.

Microsoft will still have some Xbox exclusives to reveal this year too, even if some of them are at least "timed" exclusives. Microsoft has its Xbox Developer_Direct on January 23rd, with DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. There's also a mysterious fourth game, and I won't spoil what it is, but our sources indicate that it is a new entry in a legendary Japanese IP which has decades of history, and should make a lot of fans happy. Indeed, Microsoft has won some strong support from the region lately from studios like Square Enix for Final Fantasy, HoYoverse for Genshin Impact, and Sega/ATLUS for Persona, and we suspect this new game will help further that trend.

Doesn't sound like the secret 4th title is 1st party then, so no Double Fine!

But like I said, Square_Enix is also 11 long and with how chummy Xbox and Square are lately, it would be no surprise if Square shows up again, maybe they reveal the new title and also announce ports of Final Fantasy series to Xbox? What decades old legendary Japanese IP is in need of a sequel lately? That hasn't had one for a few years? Dragon Quest? Resident Evil?

Legendary/Dormand/Decades....

So must be a franchise, before the reveal I would have said 'Virtua Fighter'

Persona, Dragon Quest, Resident Evil.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Dragon Quest 12 since we already had a legendary Japanese IP revealed last Direct with Visions of Mana and like Ryuu said, Xbox and SE have been pretty buddy buddy lately. But Xbox has REALLY been buddy buddy with Sega, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was Persona 6. They've been very friendly with Capcom recently as well so I can see it being Resident Evil 9

There's very few franchises that fit that description at this point.

Final Fantasy XVI and VII Remake Intergrade for sure has a chance of being announced.

A series that needs a sequel or remake is Chrono series (Square Enix) and Breath of Fire (Capcom).
