Secret Level should have cut itself down to 10 episodes instead of 15 and have each one be at least 20 minutes long, around the 20-30 minute region to actually give us some substance to a few episodes that end far too abruptly and go a bit more wild with the art-style changes, felt like almost all of them had the same photorealistic art-style. There were a few great episodes and I had fun with a few others but I don't think any of them will stick with me for too long, it is no Love, Death & Robots. Also they could have picked some more notable IPs to start with. The last episode, it was just an 11 minute marketing ad for PlayStation, a waste of an episode, it felt like I was being advertised to but in my face about it, Lol.

Felt the same to me and same for the last episode... I mean what was that :)

The Warhammer one was really good; I would have loved to have the kind of content for less episode but longer too

Yeah, the PlayStation episode was like I was watching a TV ad stretched into 11 minutes, Lol.

I thought the Warhammer episode was great, as was the Unreal Tournament episode, Armoured Core was good too. I also enjoyed Sifu and New World, Honour of King was interesting but I felt kind of meh about it being a Mobile IP, Lol. Feels like not the sort of thing that people interested in this show would be playing and something else could take its spot.

Dungeons and Dragons, Mega Man, Spelunky all end far too abruptly and especially the latter two, I was like "is that it?" and it made them feel pointless. Don't particularly care for the Crossfire IP and I thought something more interesting and unique could have took its spot, I'd likewise not care for an episode of Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc, Lol. Exodus and The Outer Worlds were decent, Exodus had me a little more interested in the game. Concord was okay, it wasn't bad. PlayStation episode was the worst, a complete waste of a slot. That Pac-Man episode Lmao. I can see why people were upset but I didn't care about them destroying that "Pac-Man lore" and didn't hate it, Lol.

Yah I'm really not the type of being upset at that kind of stuff (PacMan) or even stuff like Lord of the Rings female orcs lol. I mean; yah I get it; it is not really following the lore, but who cares if it is good to watch at the end haha. Even for the things I really love, like Dune where I have read the decalogy maybe 20 times now; I did not care that much when they went with mom Liet-Kynes instead of dad :) It would requires a LOT to make me upset for something like that but like you I totally understand why some people may be!

I don't know how they are picking the IPs; I mean they must be paying some royalties or something so I guess it limits what they can do but looking at the selection; it seems to be pretty open. I hope Xbox will give them green card for everything they own ;)

lmao I was wondering the same, I mean I haven't played it since the SNES days so maybe I'm forgetting something. I'm going to replay it next year tho

Damn Y'all, decided to play some Crash Team Racing and the game needs a tutorial lol tried to play it like Mario Kart and got my ass handed to me badly. Starting to get good at it but it requires a lot more skill than MK.

The pixel remaster edition is clearly the best for both returning players and especially for new players.

Considering I played the SNES, GBA, PS1 and the PC/Mobile remake versions alongside the Switch pixel remaster lol.

I finished the PC Mobile remake earlier this year and a few months after that I finished the Switch version of the Pixel Remaster.

Though the Pixel remaster version is missing the extra content from the GBA/mobile remakes......the QoL features, the new sprites/designs and the new animations make up for it. Oh and the OST is the best version, still waiting for streaming services to get the OST....

The QoL features alone make grinding non-existent and you can turn off encounters as well.

In comparison...(Note - the PC mobile remake did not have any QoL features but did have the extra content)

-Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster (NS) - 26 hours

-Final Fantasy VI (PC) - 56 hours

(I enjoyed the Pixel remasters so much that I have them on Steam, PS4, Xbox Series and iPhone - only finished all 6 games on Switch so far lol)
