To miss money, exactly,  it is not a pro consumer move, not a pro gamepass move, it is a move that is only made to squeeze money from fans who will not feel like it is a choice but an obligation to do so and you may find it funny but I find it a vile businesspractice...  They did it a few times in the past but now it seems to become the norm and this will not be accepted well when those special editions release and people find out it isn't on gamepass...Ofcourse some xbox fans will defend it and say it is okay because EA and Ubisoft do it aswell...  This will also not be beneficial for the reviews or reception of the games because people will be more critically 'I had to pay 100$ for it so yeah'

Yes that's okay because nobody had to pay those extra... People complaining about "having" to pay more or being "squeezed" for something 100% optional is so weird.

There is a demand, and businesses will try to use it to make money. That's not a "vile" business practice; that's how the world works.
And again, you can just "wait" until the release date, five days later, and not give a single dollar to that "big bad evil corporation."

If I work my ass to get my money; I want to have the choice to put that extra (whatever the price is) to get 5 days early if I want; nothing wrong with that and NOBODY is forcing me to do so; that's 100% on me especially with something like that; that has 0 impact on the gameplay or experience for the game... And if I do not want to spend money on something so trivial or useless; I have 100% the choice to do so too...

There isn't a demand or can you quote someone on this forum that said 'I want 100$ editions of games that let me play the game on the release date while standard editions of the game will release later' Just like there was no demand to make consoles and gamepass more expensive.....   Atleast no demand from consumers.

Yes businesses want to make money but can you answer this:  Are gamecompanies who have the 100$ and 70$ edition releasing the same idea less consumer friendly or more?    What is weird is to see that their are people who are defending this kind of business practice..

So... wow...

First of all, this forum does not represent the world (far from it actually, and this is a good thing); because most people on forum like that are usually very negative about everything...

Second, people are buying those early versions; so there is a demand, and we can see that in numbers when they are actually playing the game before it comes out; I am not sure why you are even arguing that. It works, and people want it (or they would not buy it). A demand does not mean that someone would need to send a formal letter to the business stating that they want something. Demand means that whatever a business is proposing, people are buying it (so there is a demand and an interest).

Finally; like I keep saying and others said too; you do not have ANY obligation to pay this extra 30$ if you do not want to and you are not missing anything in the game for it... You can still play day 1.

Now you can argue about the "value" you are getting for those 30$.... But that's on you again; I'm working my ass off every day and what I get with my money (or if I think that 30$ is worth to play the game in advance and get some goodies) is my own problem; and who are you to tell me what is right or not with that?

For the record; I do not buy the deluxe/whatever the name is for the 5 days; that's a nice bonus but I do that for extra cosmetics (again that's my choice) and to support the dev. Simple as that.

You do not like it; don't spend a cent on it; it is also as simple as that.

What's weird is people calling stuff "bad business practice" simply because they want everything for less... If you want to play 5 days before, then ditch out the money; if not; wait 5 days and you'll be fine and nobody, no business practice, nothing is forcing you to do so.

And for GamePass being more expensive. I mean, this is the same with every services out there; why are you picking on GamePass like they have to be any different? Do  I like that GamePass is getting more expensive, hell no (I'm not dumb); but is it expected and has nothing to do with Microsoft.
