Playing Half Life Alyx in NoVr with an Xbox controller .. PC gaming amirite

Hell yeah! That's why MS keeps putting out controllers. PC gamers love them.

Hopefully they get more CoD onto Gamepass soon, 21 missing CoD games as of now.

Came to post this but you beat me to it. Glad to see that Xbox immediately reached out to help them after their announcement of the Xbox delay went semi-viral. Hopefully Xbox will start making some necessary changes as well, we've heard far too many stories from indie developers in recent months and years about how slow Xbox is at contacting them when they have issues, even the certification tests seem to take ages after the final build is submitted for certification.

Not really sure what the issue is with this one because it's vague.

"The Xbox version is in the final stages of development, and we are currently discussing the release schedule and other matters with the platform. We will announce the release date again as soon as it is decided!"

Doesn't sound like it's the same issue as Enotria at least.

Chris Charla has been great for most his career in ID@Xbox though so I'm more inclined to believe Xbox has left his team understaffed and some things are slipping through the cracks, it happens in massive companies, a few years ago indies were complaining about PlayStation too but whatever the inefficiency should be fixed.

Probably a result of the layoffs...

Yeah, I definitely think it is an understaffing issue. Charla seems to be truly passionate about indie games and wants to help them release their games, so he must be severely understaffed. In the old days there were usually like 4 to 7 indies per week releasing on Xbox, but these days there are so many indie developers out there, and mobile developers looking to port their games to console, that Xbox is usually dropping like 20 indies per week onto Xbox, I think I see like 17-19 indie games on the Xbox store new releases section ahead of Star Wars Outlaws, and Star Wars Outlaws just released on August 30th. The id@Xbox team backlog must be growing longer and longer as more and more developers look to release their games on Xbox, and Charla and his staff just can't keep up with the workflow currently. Clearly they need to staff up his team with some new hires.
