This is the perfect way to cap off one of the worst years in Xbox history though

Pretty brutal year overall, I did very much enjoy their June showcase but their 2022 line-up was rough, I mean, what they did have scored well and continued a streak of releasing quality products but they only had like 3 XGS titles, Lol and they were all on the smaller side, they were carried by quality Game Pass titles but nothing really major there either and their biggest announcement of the year is now in jeopardy and may not happen.

Least 2023 looks insanely packed. Though not bothering to market your early 2023 line-up would make me question why Xbox has a marketing team at all, Lol. Unless of course, their entire early 2023 line-up is being delayed They should show this showcase to regulators as evidence, Lmao. All those Sony awards and not a single Xbox IP.

Call me a fanboy but Thank God that Elden Ring won it’s 100% deserved.

Worst thing is, they won the guy behind the excellent Xbox 360 marketing back after they lost him to Netflix. Dude has been back for like 2 years now and the marketing is still absolute horse shit. How did this guy lose his marketing touch while working at Netflix? Time to replace him I guess, the marketing can't go on like this any longer, Sony and Nintendo marketing curb stomps them on the regular. Won't matter how much their 1st party expands and improves if they don't have the marketing needed to grow the brand not only in the core markets, but into new markets. 

Oh... now I get what that one dude says about culturally impactful games. Maybe he was right

Not sure it's a good thing that Elden Ring will have so much influence. Can't stand Souls-likes due to the insane difficulty level and lack of difficulty options, and now Elden Ring's success will cause even more Souls clones to pop up.

Maybe I should stop saying Starfield will get delayed. But I did say Starfield won't get a date until they're absolutely 100% certain and that won't be until a few months before release, Todd won't look silly again.

Hmm. Just a thought, with Xbox and Bethesda's marketing team separate, would it have been Xbox who told Bethesda not to show up at TGA's or Bethesda deciding not to show up at TGA's? Cause earlier today when I said I had a feeling Xbox won't show much at all, I was more speaking about XGS, I thought Redfall would at least be there.

Strange, if there's no early 23 showcase then either stuff is being delayed or they said fuck it to actually marketing their games.
