Maybe this will finally wake Xbox Game Studios up to realize that they can release their big AAA games outside of the Holiday season. They will never get a #1 in November or December because of CoD, which is first party now but will be separate from Xbox Game Studios of course, since Activision is being kept it's own independent publisher, just like Bethesda was.

Halo Infinite would have made NPD #1 in a different release month, and Forza Horizon 5 at least could have pulled off a #2 in a better release month.

NPD lists them as "Microsoft (Corp)" even for Starfield though so I think they'll do the same for COD.

If you mean how Matt Booty chooses to operate then yeah, I think they'll start to change that, I just think they haven't really been in a decent position to do so recently. At some point they'll have so many games in the pipeline that they'll have no choice but to release games in the early year even IF they wanted to wait for Holiday season, if they did that they'd have multiple games launching on-top of each other, Lol. There's a COD title guaranteed for every November now at the absolute minimum.

I thought it just repaired vehicles, but it can heal both players and vehicles from both teams. So it's a neutral equipment. Should shake up the sandbox pretty good.
