Well I finished and completed sword and fairy 7
After playing SaF 6 back in the day I really was not looking so much forward to 7; 6 was a mess and doesn't come close to an average game.
Well 7 feels like it got a bigger budget and some time and it shows.
The game has some issues but all feel relatively minor.
Story: It can feel boring but if you know something of the world it is atleast interesting and has some nice moments, if you don't know anything it may feel
like playing a DBZ game while never watched an episode etc.
Combat: I enjoy it, it is an action RPG now and it does it job very well nothing amazing but enjoyable with no transition battle screen like some JRPGS still have.
Graphics: At moments it barely looks better than an MUSOU game but then it has some moments that honestly come close to looking great.
Side quests: All relatively easy, jumping mini game is bit annoying but their aren't many of those and the card game while I did not care but you need to do them for an achievement and then I started to like it.
Music: Enjoyable and I really like some of the instruments.
Length: 20 hours for finishing the story 30 hours for completing everything nothing really missable aswell (but I advise you to do the two boss secret achievements) not missable because you can do them again after the game only the bosses become way harder and it can be annoying...
If the next game gets an higher budget and more time aswell this can end up being a great franchise.
Personally I give it an 8/10 and I recommend it for JRPG fans atleast you should give it a try, if the story annoys you can skip the story..
