Was it really a good gotcha though? Seems like he just said they'd consider it, not that it would 100% happen which it 100% would under MS.

Could always just throw it under their cloud games.

Lmao. Holy shit, that is the dumbest "gotcha" so far.

Basically FTC's lawyer saying that Microsoft wouldn't know how to port CoD to Switch because they don't make CoD so therefore Microsoft is lying about putting CoD on Switch

Exactly, and the worst part is the FTC lawyer just established that a third-party company made CoD mobile. So if a third party is able to make a new CoD title for a mobile platform in what world would MS not be able to do so as well, you know they'd still have the option to outsource themselves.

Also, they went from a vector where the made Kotick acknowledges he would not know the detail of porting Minecraft to the switch because it was not its own game. Completely missing that it would still likely be Activision or an outsourced 3rd party with the expertise and available resource to do so that would be tasked with it. Not to mention once/if the deals go through MS will likely have access to source material enabling them to build knowledge, and expertise and know how to do just so.

Yeah, at the end of the day, Microsoft guarantees it but Bobby "considers" it so Microsoft's is still better. Just shows that even without the deal, Activision would consider it and think skipping Switch was a mistake.

It doesn't mean they'll put their stuff on GFN, Boosteroid, EE, Ubitus, etc. Lol.

It also counters FTC's argument that COD couldn't be put on Switch due to technical reasons so it's a bit of an exchange and we're back to square one. If Activision considers it then it's possible, as Microsoft have said all along.

It's also pushing Switch back into the same market as Xbox/PlayStation, Lol.

Microsoft lawyer fixing Kotick's day and date mistake.
