Short version is The Gamers Lawsuit (who are considered a joke by anyone following this lawsuit, by both lawyers and industry experts, who have constantly twisted interpretation in their favour in an effort to block the deal, who are currently in the appeal process because they had their weak case instantly thrown out) made a claim that Matt Booty said in an email that he wants to put PlayStation out of business using ABK based on their interpretation of said email.

An email which is completely redacted and they can't directly quote legally because it is redacted, we have to trust the word of an obvious troll lawsuit group who are trying to get a settlement out of Microsoft, using an email which they already mentioned months ago, known to the FTC/CMA/EC/SAMR and the Judge but none of them have used this magical smoking gun email.

So of course some fanboys saw a black block and ran with it, this big black block proves something, and is the smoking gun to stop the deal, when it actual fact it's a giant nothingburger, ResetEra was mocking those people and this comment is making a joke that this black block of nothing did a lot of heavy lifting for their confirmation bias against Microsoft and it made me laugh.

They're whining and saying if Xbox acquires Activision-Blizzard-King then they wouldn't be able to send dev kits to Activision because sneaky Microsoft will peak at their hardware and one-up them for the next gen.

Ignoring Minecraft/Mojang and Microsoft with MLB The Show and Bungie. Not to mention countless of ways it can be figured out, an NDA to the Activision developers themselves or simply releasing a PS5 version with PS6 enhancements rather than a native PS6 version considering every CoD is cross-gen anyway and that an issue like this would only apply to one CoD per gen, Lol.

It's ultimately Sony's choice, it's a desperate tactic and one the judge will likely throw out immediately.

Microsoft themselves have already done it before.

Jk, who are we kidding, it's a nonsense argument, Sony will send them a dev kit and it won't affect a thing about the consoles hardware.
