Yeah, seems like enough of the initial console demand has been met now that few people aren't willing to pay $560 for a standard console bundle, as that only saves you $10 over buying the console and the game separately. I miss the days when bundles included the game completely for free last gen. If Xbox has a standard Starfield bundle for S or X, it really needs to be at the price of the console by itself, so the game completely free, that is how you move a ton of units. Selling at loss on hardware is fine as you will make it up on games and accessories and subs later in the generation. Only a custom, limited edition Starfield bundle should be price at $560 in September, if they have one (they damn well better).

Xbox really needs to nail their pricing soon starting with some showcase announcements, or else they are going to fall even behind last gen sales on Xbox Series I fear. It's definitely time to announce the first S price cut from $300 to $250 (and equivalent in other currencies), S has just slowed too much at current pricing, especially outside of the US, S sales are basically at a crawl now in Europe, Japan, etc. They also need to start pricing their standard edition console bundles at the price of just buying the console by itself starting with Starfield, they really need to capitalize on Starfield to move units and salvage 2023 for hardware sales.

Diablo IV was my pick for highest-selling game of the year. I would've preferred sales stats than this, but conveys just how big this game is going to be.

Diablo III sold 6.5 million copies in its first week and that was just on PC. Diablo IV is looking to be a LOT bigger. Especially now that it's focused on what made the franchise great to begin with.
